How to Make Snow Ice Cream

Snow Ice Cream is a great winter treat that kids and adults alike are sure to enjoy.

To make Snow Ice Cream, all you need is milk, sugar, vanilla and clean snow!

Send a child outside with a large mixing bowl to collect as much clean snow as possible. If you are going to make a lot of ice cream, you may need more than one bowl.

A second mixing bowl should be standing ready inside for the snow. Now, the best batches of snow ice cream that I have made have been made to taste, not to a recipe, so keep that in mind!

Add the following ingredients:

Approximately a cup of milk

teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup sugar

Now mix in spoonfuls of snow until the ice cream is the desired thickness. Taste, and add sugar or vanilla as needed.

To increase the amount of snow ice cream, add more milk, which will in turn require you to add more snow to thicken the ice cream up again.

For a fun twist add mint extract or other flavors that you may enjoy!

This is a great snow day treat but it melts fast! Enjoy!
