Free Science Labs

file0002050295530The University of Virginia has a free virtual science lab that contains a plethora of wonderful resources for homeschool families. Among the information available, visitors can watch animated demonstrations of electric and magnetic forces, see a demonstration of electrostatics and circuits, tour a micron Technologies plant and more.

Students are able to learn how transistors and semiconductors work, see the inner workings of CDs and DVDs and investigate DNA.

There are virtual animations on many of the pages as well.

This is a great site and resource for highschool students particularly.

Visit the UVA virtual Lab to see what you might learn!
